Clematis viticella flora plena (syn 'Mary Rose')

The small double flowers are a smoky purple colour the growth is pure viticella, this is believed to be the same plant mentioned in the 1500's in various gardening books, it was found by Barry Fretwell and introduced by him as Clematis 'Mary Rose'. This is a stunning plant which does well for us
